Jess Bull Anderson finds her creative practise at the intersection of contemporary classical and free jazz. Utilising soundworlds from across the history of brass playing, her approach to collaborative improvisation is informed by her study with Moss Freed, Alex Paxton, and Gerardo Gozzi.

As a musician, artist and poet, her compositions are typically text and graphic score based, and explore her experiences of disability, human connection and spirituality.

She is very excited to be joined by some of her best friends and favourite musicians in this project – Carmen Llena (trumpet), Alex Wardill (saxophone), Annie Morris (tuba), and Jonny Venvell (percussion and piano).
