Create Your Future is a personal development project that aims to build better opportunities for women from Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) communities living in Haringey and Enfield. Launched in November 2016, Create Your Future supports women of all ages who are economically inactive/long term unemployed and are facing challenges with getting back to work, education or launching their own business. We help to build confidence and develop transferable skills, provide careers guidance and build links with employers for paid work opportunities.
In keeping with Collage Arts’ focus on the creative industries, we provide opportunities to develop and update creative making skills as a tool to improve wellbeing, offer creative projects as an vehicle to gain experience and strengthen capacity, expand on professional networks and help find opportunities in the creative sector.
