DESCRIPTION:A comical retelling of the classic fairytale! \nBooster Cushion Theatre brings the classic story to life in a comical extravaganza which will excite and challenge any young audience. \nHansel and Gretal have been turned into oven gloves and so decide that the best course of action is to go on a journey around the world. They learn to say hello in lots of different languages\, discover a map of the world and follow lots of breadcrumbs to find out about the different foods of the world. \nHansel and Gretal end up lost in the forest\, but some very sporty forest animals want to teach them all about their favourite sports and how to keep fit leading to a full audience relay race. But during the relay race\, they get lost further and find themselves trapped in the Witches Kitchen and it’s up to the Gingerbread Man to help save them! \nThis show features a Big Box Book which turns from a forest\, to a map of the world and then into the Witches Candy House! \nKaramel Kids is a bi-monthly fun packed performance event for early years children (suggested age range up to 6 years) and their families. \nThe £5 family ticket is for up to 4 people – eg: 2 adults + 2 children; or 1 adult + 3 children. \nFamily friendly\, all welcome. So Cinderella arrives to help\, dancing a conga with her Jack’s Baked Beans Band and suggests auditions to find the Wolf to end the story. \nThere is lots of participation in this theatre show\, with the audience becoming Cinderella’s backing band\, auditioning to be wolves\, helping Red Riding Hood’s dad cut down trees and dancing a conga. Tradition is left far behind in this fast\, funny show that uses lots of slapstick and child participation. A fine introduction to theatre that presents a variety of fairytales. The forest animals decide to escape before she gets even more grumpy on an Animal Rescue Centre which flies high throughout the skies!
