Following on from Graeme Messer’s brilliant The Art of Love and How to Avoid it, Karamel will be proudly hosting Sue Thompson Born’s dramatic and provocative painting works. As Sue herself says: My paintings and sculpture work with the physical materiality of the medium to explore context and concept.

There is an underlying theme of loss running through all of my work. This present itself as a transformative process, not necessarily negative which encompasses the personal, the political, and the universal.
