Miss Whittington and her Cat [14-16 December 2011]

The Drill Hall Darlings present their unique version of this classic Christmas Pantomine, exclusively at Karamel restaurant from Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th December.

Miss Richenda Whittington, Whit to her mates, leaves her small-town life with only her cat Kitty for company. Will they find love and fortune in good old London Town? Is the woman of her dreams to be found in the clubs and bars? And with such dim lighting will Whit even see her?

Whit finds a job in a non-for-profit outlet run by the thoughtful Ms Fitzwarren, but her daughter Alice is jealous of Kitty and tries to persuade Whit to rehome her. Will Whit be true to herself? Will the fairy godmother ever stop partying to help? Will Kitty like her new home? Is there such a thing as true love?

This panto might not answer all of these questions but it will be a great night out with the fantastic Drill Hall Darlings – a truly special treat for the festive season.

Karamel is one of North London’s hidden gems. With a special festive menu for Miss Whittington, you can wine, dine and be entertained in style. The Drill Hall Darlings are a group of Lesbians from all parts of our community who enjoy performing.
