HLL celebrates website launch

Haringey Literature Live celebrates the launch of its website, showcasing the organisation’s literary events and activities in the Borough, and announcing its Flash Fiction competition winners.

As well as sampling micro-stories from the Flash competition, and sound files from writers who have read at past events, visitors to the site will discover details about exciting free monthly evening readings of poetry and fiction (with open mic!), along with a programme of daytime writing workshops, all held at the wonderful venue Karamel, N22.

Future activities will include book exchanges, after school clubs, reading groups, writers in schools and more.

Programme co-ordinator Kate Pemberton (also Fiction Editor for Ambit magazine) says:

“Our events are friendly, welcoming and inclusive, while promoting work of a very high standard. We’re looking forward to celebrating the very best that the literature scene has to offer in the atmospheric surroundings of Karamel cafe.”

Haringey Literature Live is a Collage Arts initiative.
