In addition to delivering training and education projects funded by the European Social Fund, Collage Arts regularly works across Europe with similar-cultured organisations offering non-formal learning in the arts and creative industries. Predominantly funded by the European Commission, these projects allow for innovative learning strategies and models to be developed, shared, piloted, tested, transferred and disseminated to stakeholders.
Talent Matching Europe is a new international partnership for tutors and trainers who are supporting young people to gain access to work and careers in Europe’s cultural and creative industries. Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme until August 2018
Break-in the Desk is a platform of a cross-cultural european community where businesses and PAs can propose challenges to artists and creatives. The solutions are reached by artistic interventions, art projects, public art etc. involving employees and the public. The challenges could be in any field such as financial, prototyping, innovation, HR, marketing, communication, social inclusion, diversity, immigration etc.
In 2013, Collage Arts launched the European Cultural Learning Network, a professional association and network of non-formal and informal learning sector organisations across Europe. Funded by the Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) until 2016.
Collage Arts led a Transfer of Innovation programme, Aspire2Create, funded by the EU through Ecorys. This programme was for trainers in the creative and cultural industries and tested and transfered an innovative competency framework across 5 partner organisations in Europe.
Collage Arts is in an international partnership for the Women in Jazz project, with 3 other founding partners of ECLN: Mulab (Italy), Prostor Plus (Croatia) and Arteria (Poland). The project aims to promote the integration of women in the jazz world in Italy and wants to improve the creative sharing in different countries of the European Community.
From January 2013 to January 2015, ON-SCENE was led by the University of Perugia (Italy), developing learning strategies for the scenography sector. This was funded by Leonardo LLP.
From January 2013 to November 2014, I:CUD was led by CEPS (Barcelona, Spain) and developing a body of research into hidden discrimination on social networking sites and its impact on young people. This was funded by the EU Fundamental Rights and Justice programme.
From December 2012 to June 2014, Collage Arts has led a Mobility programme that was funded by the EU through Ecorys. This programme was for creative apprentices to learn languages, develop promotional tools, and work on events/festivals in Spain and Italy as a vocational training and work placement.
In 2012, New Arts, Collage Arts and WAC collaborated in a Youth in Action project named Collaboration in the Air. This project involved a series of exchanges and learning activities between 24 young people from Arnhem, Netherlands and London, UK.
From 2009 to 2011, Collage Arts led a collaborative research and development partnership project named Euro-Aspire that connected other European organisations that informally educate people in and through creative activities in the UK, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Denmark. This peer network of like-minded organisations engaged in purposeful dialogue exchanged philosophies and practice, created and harnessed synergies and developed a common European framework to validate non formal learning in the creative and arts sectors. Euro-Aspire was funded by the Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme from November 2009 to October 2011.
From October 2008 to September 2010, Collage Arts were part of the STEP project that developed a framework on cross-workers supporting training in the creative and cultural industries.
