The next annual Open Studios will be on Saturday/Sunday 13/14 November 2010 from 12 noon to 6pm.
Over 100 artists and creative companies take part in the annual Open Studios with their studios open to the public, making it one of the largest events of its kind in London.
Open Studios offers an opportunity for all sectors of the creative community, as well as members of the public, to come and explore The Chocolate Factory and be inspired by an amazing array of art forms live in the artists’ studios. This eclectic and interactive event offers a huge selection of contemporary art and design from leading practitioners in their fields and features internationally acclaimed painters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, film-makers and designer-makers.
Come and meet leading artists and designers, spot new talent, buy original artwork, commission a piece of art for your home or get your portrait painted. Discover and purchase affordable art and contemporary design or simply come and indulge your senses in a visual feast of creativity.
Chocolate Factory 1 & 2, home to over 200 artists and creative companies, is a hub of cutting-edge design, product development and creativity. The Chocolate Factory concept is so innovative and successful it is now being replicated in other European cities; the City of Malaga is going ahead with the development of their own Chocolate Factory. The Chocolate Factory brand will also be going London-wide with the first exhibition of Chocolate Factory Artists taking place at the Gallery in Redchurch Street in Shoreditch during March 2010; further information below.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
Exit from Wood Green tube station, cross over the road and walk down STATION ROAD (towards Alexandra Palace). At the mini-roundabout, take a left into MAYES ROAD, then 2nd right into COBURG ROAD (the Duke of Edinburgh pub is on this corner), then 1st right into CLARENDON ROAD. The Chocolate Factory is directly in front of you.
