CHOCOLATE FACTORY EXHIBITION AT HIGHGATE GALLERY
Collage Arts have secured an exhibition for Chocolate Factory artists at the Highgate Gallery consisting of 10 Chocolate Factory artists. This is a unique chance to view a wide variety of art from both Chocolate Factory 1 & 2.
Chocolate Factory 1 & 2 is home to over 220 artists and creative companies, a hub of cutting-edge design, creativity and fine artists. The artists featured in the exhibition will be Gail Altschuler , Paul Berry , Penny Elder , Ursula Kellet , Meiso Lai, Ruma Nowaz, Brian Palmer and Karen Williamson.
The exhibition will take place on the 10th to the 23rd of September 2010.

EXHIBITION OF OUR ARTISTS IN LIVRY-GARGAN, PARIS
Livry-Gargan is in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris, France and the town is twinned with Haringey, London. We have holding an exchange of exhibitions of selected artists from The Chocolate Factory and Livry-Gargan. The first exhibition of Chocolate Factory artists will be at the gallery of l'Office de Tourisme in Livry-Gargan from 4th to 30th October 2010. Following this, artists from Livry-Gargan will be exhibiting in the Chocolate Factory Open Studios in November 2010.
EUROPEAN STEP PROJECT
The Supporting Talent to Employment Programme (STEP), a European Leonardo da Vindi Lifelong Learning funded project, has the goal of developing a common European framework of competences for mentors and support workers in the non-formal learning sector. STEP operates in the creative industries, including music, drama, visual arts, media production and design. STEP works across 5 European member states with organisations that utilise informal learning, delivered through artistic and cultural expression, to provide vocational support to disadvantaged and disaffected young people. ASPIRE
Euro Aspire connects European organisations that informally educate people in and through creative activities. This peer network engages in purposeful dialogue exchanging philosophies and practice, creating and harnessing synergies and developing a common European framework to validate non formal learning in the creative and arts sectors. EUROPEAN COLLABORATION WITH MALAGA, SPAIN
Directors from Industrias Creativas & Co based in Malaga visited the Chocolate Factory 1 & 2 several times in 2007 & 2008. They were so impressed with what has been developed in both buildings that they decided to create a similiar environment for artists in Malaga.
Two sites have been approved by the Municipal de Málaga and Collage Arts are collaborating with Industrias Creativas & Co to develop both sites. Watch this space...
