About Collage Arts

Collage Arts (formerly Haringey Arts Council) is a leading arts development, training and creative regeneration organisation based in Haringey’s Cultural Quarter. For almost 20 years the organisation has created opportunities for greater participation in the arts and creative industries for the whole community through a range of learning programmes, business support services and facilities and resources.
We seek to provide greater access and support to under-represented sections of the community including black and minority ethnic communities, asylum seekers, women, people with disabilities and ex-offenders by offering skills, experience and opportunities in music, film, performing arts, visual arts, and multimedia, which can lead onto progression routes in further and higher education, employment and entrepreneurship.
As part of our commitment to cultural regeneration Collage Arts has developed two buildings, Chocolate Factory 1 & 2, for the artistic community housing over 160 creative businesses. Collage Arts vision for the Chocolate Factory complex is to develop a centre for the creative industries in the heart of Wood Green’s Cultural Quarter.
Collage Arts is lead partner of Creative London North, which offers a business support programme for the creative industries across Haringey Enfield, and Waltham Forest. Through this we also offer a range of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) opportunities, business support, entrepreneurship initiatives and networking events. With Prevista and Enfield Arts Partnership we deliver a wide range of support to people working in the arts and creative sector, the self-employed and small to medium sized businesses.
We have established a range of accredited creative learning programmes in Sound Recording, Music Business and Multimedia which are free or subsidised for unwaged people. We also offer FREE professional and impartial advice and guidance to anyone living or working in London who has a keen interest in developing a career or business in the Creative Industries.
We are able to provide a platform for local established and emerging artists, musicians, creative businesses, film makers, writers and designers through our multi-purpose performance venue, The Karamel Club, Open Studios, Urban Academy Jam Sessions, Community Festivals, showcases, conferences and creative industry events.
The Creative Online Centre, The Karamel Club, meeting rooms, MIDI music and film production facilities are some of the resources and facilities that are bookable through Collage Arts. For the full list go to Facilities and Hires. |
