One day Photography masterclasses by Esther Serrano

Esther Serrano will be running a one-day Photography Masterclasses on Monday 14th October (beginners) and Saturday 19th October (some experience) at Collage Artspace 4 (Library Mall, 191 High Road, N22 6DZ).

From 11am-4pm (4 hours). Cost – Beginners session (14th Oct) – FREE.  Experienced session (19th Oct) – £10.

‘Moving from auto to manual setting’

Ditch the auto and create amazing shots using manual settings on your camera in particular, white balance, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, manual focusing and how to get the best settings for portraits, wildlife, sports, etc.

– bring a camera with manual settings (could be a camera, tablet or phone with manual setting capabilities).  This is a practical course!  Camera with manual settings is essential – you are going to be shooting at least 50% -60% of the time.  Note that on Saturday 19th October, you should bring a DSLR camera as we will be focussing on advanced techniques.

– read a paper beforehand with the ‘basic information about manual settings’

– it is essential that you check in your camera manual where the buttons are to change: Iso, speed, aperture and white balance.  You may bring your camera manual if you are not familiar with the camera.

To book a workshop place, please email or call 0800 0092 970.

A selection of our courses are listed in the latest e-news.  They will fill up fast, so reserve your place and find out what other opportunities we have on as the year progresses.
